Prevent McAfee from Deleting a Keygen

Most people confuse Keygen as a virus or Trojan that is capable of damaging your device. This is true to some extent, but the essential function of Keygen is to let the users utilize the software free of cost. It is a simple program that is often mistook as a malware strain. That is why sometimes a strong Antivirus like McAfee recognizes it as a virus-strain and deletes it from your device. Many people use Keygen to create serial numbers for various programs and software. If you want to prevent McAfee from deleting the Keygen, open the configuration window and follow the steps below.

  1. On the main Windows System Tray, tap twice on the ”Security Center.” You will reach the main configuration window of McAfee.

  2. Find the ”Internet Applications” on the left side of the screen.

  3. Now, select the ”New Allowed Application” section on this page.

  4. A new window will open where you have to exclude the keygen software.

  5. Next, find the ”Browse” option from the ”Select Application to Allow” window.

  6. Tap twice on the Keygen’s file name and proceed.

  7. Go to the ”Permissions” window and look at the ”Allow Full Access” option.

  8. Finally, close the page to save the modifications.
