The Safer Antivirus: Bitdefender or Webroot?
Bitdefender and Webroot use an entirely different approach to detect any digital threat. But both are reliable options, which is evident from the fact that both are Editor’s Choice winners. One can choose between them by keeping in my mind a few common factors necessary for the successful working of any Antivirus software. Speed Test Behavior-based detection is a relatively slow but effective way to detect malwares. It helps in detecting the malwares that haven’t been named yet. Webroot is efficient in detecting malware through behavior-based techniques and the time required to do so makes it slow. And the lab test, which was expecting speed, gives less score to Webroot for this parameter. On the other hand, Bitdefender scores excellent points from multiple labs because of their quick signature-based detection.
