The New Apple TV 4k: New Remote, Faster Processor, Same $179 Price
After so much time and eternity in streaming services—Apple has finally decided to give its Apple TV 4K an upgrade. They are starting to be available at Apple stores and online from Friday, May 2, and the new Apple TV 4K streaming device costs $179 (169 euros, AU$249) with 32 GB storage or $199 (189 euros, AU$279) with 64GB. But the biggest upgrade we are getting is the all-new Siri remote control. Silver in color, instead of the original black at the top it has a directional pad at the top and a Siri toggle at the side, and a power button to control your TV. The new d-pad should address some of the complaints users had with previous remotes has been addressed here. The original remote has a larger touchpad and lacks directional cues.
